volkl skis - what model is best for an intermediate skier?

Hi,
I have a chance to buy Volkl ski's through work this year at a good price.  I am an intermediate skier and do most of my skiing with my kids (8 and 6 years old - Norwegians so pretty good and fast).
Can anyone recommend a good ski for me, I have been told twin tips or womens skis are good, but not really sure as to which Volkl will be best, I have looked at Cosmo's and Aurora's.
I am 40, male, 70kg and after comfort and ease of use, all round but mainly on groomed runs in Norway.
Thanks

It seems like anything over 85mm wide is going to be overkill for an intermediate skiing with the kids. The models mentioned, in particular, work best at high angles and high speeds on hardpack but they prefer deeper snow and crud.

I'm with chrub in thinking the AC 20 or 30 may be a better choice for you, unless you're spending 75%+ of your time in crud or powder.

At your weight, though, you may be on the right track looking at the women's skis. Of your suggestions, the Cosmo may be the most user friendly. The Aura is a fantastic ski for most conditions, but it really doesn't shine unless moving at speed and its width requires real commitment to the edge to carve. The Aurora is a beast of a ski. I haven't tried the Bridge, but it seems to be a well loved choice.

cheers, I think I will go with the ac 30's.  seem to get really good reports on the write ups and reviews and will be more than good enough for my skill level for the foreseeable future.  The old curse of living in a ski resort, too much time working in the industry, not enough time on the slopes!!
