super fat rockered skis- base and side edge bevel ?

Hi,

I just purchased some Bluehouse Mavens (dimensions 154/139/151m).  I am wondering about base and side edge bevel - not so much for the powder run - but more for when I do have to hit a groomer to outrun back to the lift.

On my other skis, head IM 88's,  I use  a 1* base bevel and a 3* side edge bevel when I tune them.  I feel I can really roll the ski to get and keep a great grip at high speeds.

I e-mailed Bluehouse to ask their opinion on base and side edge bevels but have not heard back from them, yet.

Do any of you have thoughts or experiences with bottom and side edge bevels on the mavens or other very wide rockered skis?

thanks,

I'd tune them at 1 and 2. If I ever tuned them.

That's how I have my powder skis tuned.  Sharp edges have no effect on powder performance, but are nice to have when you hit hard non-powder.
