The FD toe offers lateral, and true mechanically controlled upward release. It also offers a slightly theoretical 180* roll release capability. (Note that I say theoretical because it does require a slight rearward movement of the boot sole in order for the lateral cams to disengage)
FWIW all other current multidirection toes require the boot to move rearward for an upward release while the look does not. Also none of the others offer the 180* roll out.

Yeah I get all that.....but why you do think this is a reason to fight?? This is probably just two different sets of information. No big deal.
