Kneebinding Experience?

Has anybody had any experience with the new Kneebindings?  It seems to be a great idea, but I don't know anyone who has tried them.  I'm curious about how durable they are, and how well the lateral heel release works, and the overall quality of the binding.

If you put "kneebinding" in the search box above you will find several threads on the subject.  I also expect their biggest fan, CHRISinRI, to weigh in any minute.
