Alrighty,
Age-23
Weight - 150lbs
height - 5'11''
skiing level-7/8
Current quiver - 2008/09 Volkl Gotama /w marker griffons - 176cm
Getting rid of - Head Monster im70 - 178cm
I found a relatively good deal on some good condition demo skis, dynastar contact 9's and 10's. under 400$ with bindings mounted. Obviously the goats are going to be my powder and good day skis, so i need to find something lively, turny and fun for the days when the weather gods are not takeing huge snow craps on me. I love the bumps.
Both the contact 9 and 10 from last year are 172cm lengths which i figure is right where i want to be for a carving/everyday ski.
Can anyone recommend any other skis? I have yet to find a single bad review for the contacts and am seriously considering going to buy them tomorrow. Last year the monsters kicked my ass, they were too big, too long and too heavy to be any fun. the goats are 3 cm wider, lighter, and are easier to maneuver for me.
