question on mounting bindings

I need to mount bindings on a new pair of 178 Missions.  It would be helpful to understand the process and request the best set-up possible.

My two questions:  should I use a lifter and should I mount them forward a bit.  I did a forward mount on the Harte Phoenix and it skis well, however a bit of a lift might have been smarter.  Phil mentioned this.

I plan to use this ski in soft snow and maybe bumps, it's intended as an east coast powder ski.  I'm 5'10" and weigh 185# or less - 55 yrs old.  Very good skier but inconsistent.

The binding is The Rossignol Axial2 120 Pro Alpine.  I set the DIN at 8.75 or 9.  I don't even know it that binding will work.

That is a totally different ski than the Phoenix, what was best for that ski does not apply here. The binding choice for the Scott is fine but no lift is needed for this type of ski. I don't have much experience with the Mission, I will let someone else help with the positioning there.

I'd like to hear some input here as well.  I've been eying the 08/09 Missions as they go by on Tramdock but I fear they're too similar to my Afterburners.  Might have to pick them up though because I think they'd be a nice all mountain compliment to my Goats.
