K2 Juvy kids skis with Marker FasTrack2 bindings

Looking for a decent ski for my 8 y/o daughter who's in her 2nd year of mogul comps (although she's not that great yet in the bumps).  Stumbled across this 2009 K2 Juvy with these bindings.  Has a spruce core.  She weighs 100 lbs.

Anyone have any experience with these?  She busted some Lines last season.  I need them to last a whole season without breaking (hopefully)

For comps or freeskiing?

I'm not sure I'd put a hundred pounder (are you sure? that's the same as my 12-year-old) who busted a pair of Lines (best built kids skis I've seen) on demo bindings.

And I think those Juvys are probably demos.  In which case, they're available new from Evogear for $180 shipped, and the Missy (same ski with girlie topsheet) for $185.  Bummer you didn't mention this last week, when Evo was tossing in an extra 21% discount on anything in the Outlet.

I had a kid beat up on 119 Juvys for two or three seasons, and they've now been handed down.  Pretty solidly built.  But not as well built as Line Celebrity Minis or Invader Minis.

biggest problem I had with the Line Celebrity's was the fact they they're quite thin, therefore there's not much meat for the bindings to mount into.  My son kept ripping the bindings out of them in his mogul comps.

That binding is a rental binding?  I couldn't find any more info on it except that it seems to come with those skis for the past few years.

Thanks for the help

ps - yeah, she is 100 lbs.  My son is 12 and weighs 83, but he's ripped.  She's gonna be 9 next month, but is not "fat". more very solidly built.  Adopted from Russia, so prolly has some sort of big parents LOL!  (think Picabo Street build)

Gotcha.

If I'm not mistaken, "Fastrack" is their rental line.

My daughter has had two pairs of Lines mounted tele.  The bases and edges are indestructible.  Haven't had a binding problem, but maybe the different location makes the difference.
