Need Buying Advice: Volkl Tigershark 10's

Looking to buy some new Volkl TigerShark 10's ... my question is in regards to the difference in model years as I can get the:

2007-2008 Volkl Tigershark 10 Foot skis w/ Marker Motion iPT 12.0 Piston TS PowerSwitch for $379.99

OR The newest model which meets the same sidecuts and radius but costs almost $200-300 more ... why would I pay that?

Is $379 too much for a pair of skis that old?  Should I wait longer to see if the price will drop?

That's what I was planning on doing because as far as I can tell they're the same exact ski with a different graphic scheme ...

Is it worth me buying them now in August @ 379 for the ski/binding combo ... or can I expect that number to drop as the new 2010 models are hitting the stores in September/October?

It seems like a great deal right now ... but I'd hate to see I could have saved a hundred bucks or so a few months down the road ...

I'd go for the 07-08's and buy them now.  Demand for skis only goes up as labor day approaches and things really get going.

Thanks for the input guys.  I called their store to see if I could get them any lower and I didn't realize they were on close-out so they probably won't drop much more, so I ordered a new pair of 175 TigerShark 10's in the middle of August for $379.99 and I just want it to snow already!

If anyone else is interested ... www.alpinesportinggoods.com has a lot of Volkl close-outs at some pretty nice price points, FREE shipping on the closeout models too!

Now it's time to start the search for the perfect boot!

I paid $$675 CDN about a month ago for these same skis/bindings, they are new old stock, so I would jump on that price like a fat kid on a smartie.
Ski like there is no tomorrow!
