Shin plates.

Hi everyone.

I would like to experiment with shin plates on my Salomon Guns. Just somehow can not find them (Melbourne, Australia). If it comes to the worst, would it be possible to cut them out from thin plastic ? Unfortunatelly don't now how stiff they supposed to be.

Thanks indeed.

Ask a Nordica dealer for their front spoilers, really nicely?

I'd start with ~10 ksi and move up to ~30-40ksi as needed _after_ you try the first effort at ski temps,

Do you have a Shore D-scale durometer?  'f'so,  the starting value makes for about 45D.

No durometer. Though expecting in a decent place to have specifications from a manufacturer ???? Just in comparison, what would be value  ...say for tong of the boot itself ???

Ah. I imagine I half expected you to cut up some bits from automotive interior plastic.

The bit of plastic opposite the shin on the tongue of the boot liner?   Softer than what I posted.  It really isn't meant to do the same thing, i.e. pass loading along the long axis.

The numbers I posted are comparable to softer boot shell plastic.
