Ladies: Rossignol B2W vs Dynastar Legend Exclusive??

I'm picking up a pair of skis for my sister and I think I've narrowed it down to these two skis, I can get either for about $190, they both seem fairly similar. So who has skied both? What did you think? She's a beginner-intermediate, poor technique but gets down east coast double blacks (slowly). Will be skiing on the east coast only, is 5'8", 155-160lbs, athletic but not an aggressive skier at all, scared of speed. Granted all she's ever skied on are ten year old 170cm head cyber x60 hand me downs. Help me decide!

Me again.

My wife demoed them both over a weekend a couple of years ago, thanks to Sierra Jim here.  She loved the Dynastars, found the Rossis mediocre, and bought the Dynastars.  (Then I got her a pair of Exclusive Legend Powders and she all but stopped using the Exclusive Legend.)

I thought you said that she also skied out west occasionally?  If only for the east, the Legends are a fine choice.

Hey there :) She skied out west last year for a month which is where she improved a lot but she will be only be skiing out east now. That said, would there be a better choice for that nice east coast ice/bumps/hardpack?

I agree with Mrs(the dad)'s assessment.

I demoed the Rossi B2W  and thought they were the most uninspiring ski I've ever had under me.

The Dynastars were quite a bit more fun, but my favourite ended up being the Blizzard Eos(in that category)

If you're picking between these two, then go for the Dynastar.

Thanks! And for her skill/weight at 165cm it shouldn't be too much ski for her? I don't want her to struggle on the east coast hardpack or she won't have any fun :)

165 should be fine from your description of her.

Please let us know how much she loves them!!
