Shooting on the snow

OK, so it's indoors snow, and CEM was in the shot, but here's one of the ones I took on Saturday night.

 

More to follow once I get them tidied up and uploaded!

 

 

If God hadn't meant us to ski, why did He give us mountains, snow and gravity?

Just a small suggestion... photo is way too dark. If nothing else, try to change levels in Photoshop (or any other program you have for photo editing), but even better is to use different settings when shooting (exposure compensation to plus, different program... my preference for example is manual for all sport shooting).

Primoz, thanks - it was a bit of a snap rather than planned photo - the camera was set up for taking photos up the slope (i.e. in more light). I haven't done any post production on that one yet, but I'll probably try some when I've got a bit of time - still have to sort through the other 180 photos I took!

They were all taken in RAW, so shouldn't be too much of a problem to push them a couple of stops.

Schuss, welcome to EpicSki!

 

It took 4 hours to download them to my laptop on Monday night cause I used a card reader, not the camera. I'll work on them tomorrow. I promise!

I had to put a bit of glare reduction on your head - the reflections were causing problems with metering...

just push the dam levels in a raw converter you lazy sod, you can always airbrush me to reduce the glare later
