Good Price on 08/09 Head IM 78??

What's a good price these days on a new pair of 08/09 model year Head IM 78 flat skis?  Seems like availability in 171cm length is very low and I have not yet found pricing as aggressive as on a lot of other skis.  Any insight would be appreciated.

You're right, the 171's are hard to find, and the people that still have them aren't giving them away. A friend of mine has a pair of 07/08's in the 171 with about twenty days on them, and was thinking of upgrading to the 08/09, but most places are out of them. And the ones that do have them would prefer to sell them as a package deal w/bindings. Might want to try Ski Depot in Maine (ski-depot.com). Don't go by their advertised prices, they still have some 171's, and have been willing to negotiate the price. They have given me some outstanding deals in the past. Good luck.
