Driving Sugarloaf to Jay Peak

Hi All,

They posted next years Easter break schedule. Last week of March into first week of April. So thinking of driving up (from NJ) to Sugarloaf for 3 days skiing, then going over to Jay Peak for a couple of days (2-3 skiing).

Can anyone advise on the route to taker from SL to Jay? Also factor in driving conditions.

Thanks

I did Stowe to SL one year and did US2 all the way from Montpellier VT to Frarmington ME.  Real nice drive.

I would think it would be best to head back on 27 south from SL to Framington and then take US2 west to 91 north, then take the usual rt over to Jay.

Although you could do it, it would probably take longer drive straight west on state roads from SL to Jay.

Driving conditions in April, no built-up ice pack on the roads, if it doesn't snow, it'll be fun.  If it snows, it could be a pain or could really suck.  That time of year the odds of a big snow unless you are right at SL or Jay are very very low.
