Summer Alp camp opportunity of Epic'ers

Attention all Epicski members.  I and another instructor in France are teaming up to offer a special camp opportunity to our Epic and Snowheads forum friends.

The camp will be held on the glacier at Les Deux Alpes.  It's one of the largest skiable glaciers in Europe, located above a beautiful storybook village in the heart of the French alps.

We're offering the choice of 2 camps.  Each camp will be a week long, and consist of 6 days of coaching.  You have the choice of 2 hours of coaching each day in a group of 4 people max, then skiing the remainder of the  day on your own,,, or receiving at least 4 hours of coaching each of the 6 days in a group of 8 max.

Because the glacier closes at 1:30, you'll also have the opportunity to spend afternoons mountain biking, hiking, swimming, golfing, fishing, kayaking/rafting, and a host of other summer activities in this picturesque mountain playground.  Many of these activities are free with your lift ticket, and others are offered at discount to ticket holders,

Our normal price for this camp would be over 800 British Pounds, but we've specially priced it at 590 British Pounds for our Epicski and Snowheads friends.  This price includes all coaching fees, lifts, 7 nights lodging in a 4 star hotel, and breakfast and dinner each day.  This is truly a great package being provided at a give away price for our forum friends.  If you've ever dreamed of skiing and vacationing in the alps, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.  Spaces are getting snapped up by Snowheads members as we speak, so if you're interested in joining us contact me quickly.

At the currently favorable exchange rate, (1.46 USD = 1 pound) the package is about $861.  Considering 7-nights of lodging, this sounds like an exceptional bargain and nice way to get a vacation in Europe on the cheap.  Rick, how is airfare cost looking?

It is a bargain.  Airfare from SFO looked like about $1K approximately.  If I could afford to go, I would.  I'm hoping the opportunity will be available in the future.

Yes, Cirque, it's a super deal.  Not only coaching fees and lodging, as you pointed out, but also breakfast/dinner daily, and lift tickets,, all included.  My partner in this camp is a Les Deux Alpes resident coach who teaches there year round.  Was able to negotiate a great deal with the locals.  Great opportunity.

Airfares are rock bottom now too.  I've been checking around for fares for people.  East coast is around $530 round trip, and from Denver is $750.  Check out www.wholesale-flights.com

I booked my flight into Lyon, France.  From there a quick/cheap train to Grenoble, then bus up to Les Deux Alpes.  There are many other options you can use too.  Fly into Geneva, Paris, Turin, just to name a few.  Most are just a bus or train ride away,,, or rent a car.  I'm really looking forward to this camp, it's going to be a blast.

Ski Spirit, not sure if this will happen again next year.

Hey, here's a heads up.  Upon further checking beware of wholesale-flights.  There are some poor reports on google search.  I haven't used them and wouldn't want to see anyone get stuck with a bum deal.  Flights arrangements through the traditional channels are not that much more.
