Atomic Metron 11B5 Replacements

I need to replace my Metron 11's after a clean break on both edges under the boot.  As a warranty replacement Atomic sent me Nomad Blackeye's which are horrid.  Ski northern Michigan hard packed groomers in the morning and hard bumps in the afternoon.  I loved the Metrons due to their stability at high speeds.  Load the tails and get launched into the next turn.  They were adequate on the bumps.  Most all the demo skis were sold off by the end of the season so I wasn't able to try any others.  I did ski the Volkl AC 30's and Tigershark 10 foot's while I was waiting for Atomic to ship new skis but they aren't a replacement for the Metron's.

I'm considering the Nordica Top Fuel based on reviews.  Any thoughts on these or other skis would be appreciated.

I'm considering the Nordica Top Fuel based on reviews.  Any thoughts on these or other skis would be appreciated.   

 

 

What size Atomic Metron's were you using? What is your weight? Will you also take the ski out west?

Metron's were 170's and weight is 160.  I typically demo skis out west given I only ski off piste when I go.  Skied Nordica Hellcats in Utah this past February and found them acceptable.

The 2009 Dynastar Contact 10, Fischer Progressor 9+, Fischer Progressor 8, the Head Monster 78 are other skis that will carve firm man-made snow and still handle the softer conditions found out-west.
