Kinda wide spring/softsnow east coast all-mountain (maybe twin-tip) ski

Kinda think it might be fun to add a kinda-wide all-mountain, possibly twin-tip (but not park twin-tip) to the quiver at some point.  This is for spring-skiing east coast and maybe if ever there are powder days.  Maybe the 78-85mm waist would be about right.  Some reasonable radius.  Not like a carver but not 28m either.

I haven't demoed a ski like this in several years.  I did demo the original Salomon 1080 maybe five or six years ago and the Rossi B2 at one point and like both of them.  I think the 1080 was more like what I'm looking for.  I've heard the K2 Public Enemy (now Extreme?) is supposed to be a good all mountain twin tip.

So, anyone have tips for skis I should research?

Line Cronic is a real nice option.  

I'd say to skip right up to the Head Mojo in a 94mm waist.  It replaced the PE in my quiver (which means my 179cm PEs are for sale I suppose).

Don't recall your weight, Learn2, but unless your other ski (skis) are in the mid-60's, agree with 219 about jumping into the 90's. I mostly skied a Mojo 90 this spring back east, wished for a bit more at times, especially when transitioning from piles of slush to wet rutted ice with a river running just below. So I'd think about a Mojo 94 if you like damp, and a Scott Crusade or Volkl Bridge if you like lively. I'm actually scouting out 100+ quick turners for same conditions next season. But hard to find anything that wide that can grip on the ice. Which always lurks just below the pow or slush.

My choice for surfing the spring slush is the Dynastar Big Trouble twin-tip. It has a 93 mm waist, making it a bit wider than your target width of 78-85 mm. They don't feel all that wide on the mountain. I find them to be easy to handle and forgiving in the 176 length (I'm 6 ft, 170 lb). Mine are few years old (2006?) with the lime green and black top sheet. Last season Dynastar went with a retro graphic for the topsheet. That model didn't seem to sell too well and was available from evogear at pretty good pricing, may still be a few left.

Well that certain gets one out of the K2/Atomic rivalry at my home mountain.  What length do you ski that in?  I would think 6' 185# advanced skier would want a 179cm???
