End of April / early May, Whistler, PNW, or Mammoth?

Got a few options for the end of the month, so I'm deciding whether to stay put and get in a day or two at Whistler, drive a bit further to Hood / Bachelor, or head down to Mammoth. Which would you choose, given the snow conditions at this time, and the best bang for the buck?

I can't predict the weather, but Bachelor keeps getting cold powder, not  uncommon in the spring.  A spring season pass is about $100.

Bachelor has a huge advantage that it wraps out around the base of a circular mountain.  You can start on the east side, where the sun first hits, and move progressively westward as the section you're in melts too much.  If skiing becomes poor you can bag it for the day and head back into town for some golf or mountain biking.

Mammoth for sure. Don't go too far fr/ home, snow was huge last week, and there's more since we left.
Blue skies, snow tan, ez vibe, and you can travel any mtn. like Rio states,  following the Sun, so get your butt there.

If Whistler is close, GO BIG.  As you can see the snow depths are starting to creep up in the PNW, and there should be no crowds by then.  Go south if you want a trip, but if you are in the Whistler neighborhood why loose ski days?

Whistler is great in the spring.  You can work the aspects as the day moves along.  You'll have plenty of snow.  You don't have to drive as far, I guess, you don't say where you live.  They've got great deals on lodging right now and you don't have to drive to the hill like you do at Bachelor.  Also, the terrain is a lot more interesting than Bachelor.

I skied there in May once and it snowed on us while we watched sailboats in the sunshine on the lake in the valley and golfers were doing their golf thing down below.

I slide.

Whistler has it's best/deepest snow base (on the upper mountain) that I have seen for 5+ years. Spring skiing is going to be good this year.
