Had a great time at Big Sky.  Here's some pictures to show  everyone why they should have joined us at the ESA at Big Sky. We had 5 in our class and a few Bears joining us from time to time.  Bud and Nolo for sure.

Heres:  Bud waving - Reno, Staggerlee-Half Moon Bay Calif., our great coach Squatty-Aspen, Cindy from South Carolina, BShon Brian from Tucson and TrekChick from Michigan.

Tricia, Trekchick cutting up the powder and looking very GOOD doing so.

Some of our group a little overy half way down Liberty Bowl off of Lone Peak.  Powder was very good.

Cindy enjoying the powder. ABOVE and  Bshon Brian below.

Staggerlee Above looking good.

Me BETWEEN the trees not in them.

Squatty demonstrating how to stand up in the trees to Pete who spent a lot of time laying in the Trees.       Great DEMO Squatty !!

A really GREAT week.  Special thanks to:  1) Squatty for the really great coaching, powder finding abilities, smelling out the tree powdr and just for generally being a hell of a guy.  2) My group for waiting for me to dig myself out a "few" times,   and just everyone for  one of the very best trips I have ever been on.   My kind of Clinic,  About 10% meaningful, useful, immediate feedback instruction and then 90% just unadulterated go for it skiing.  EPIC rules.   If you missed this week you really missed a great time. 3) Bud for boot donation for raffle.

Awesome photos Pete.  I'm glad to have had the good fortune to meet you and ski with you.  Skiing with you and the rest of the group was the most fun that I have ever had in a week of skiing.  The group chemistry was amazing.  The energy, enthusiasm and joy was absolutely contagious.

Thanks Bud,  ESA and everyone appreciated your donation, time, help and expertise.  Most of all I enjoyed watching you rip the hill, trees, powder, moguls etc.

Best 4 days of skiing I have ever  had and thats in 37 yrs.  Squattys powder hounds ROCK.

Way too much fun, challenge, excitement and apres beer.

A lot of Bears that passed on Big Sky missed an absolutely great time.

Bud in grey facing, Squatty in Blk just left of Bud, Trekchick in Orange, Ciindy on far right 1/2 of her anyway.  Waiting for Tram to the Top.

After Liberty Bowl we got to ski this, Screaming Left, middle tracks between the rocks are mine. Yea!

Thanks Squatty for the best skiing EVER! I had the time of my life in Big Sky.

Thank you all for the fantstic pictures Pete and TC. I learned soo much..most of all that Powder Is King!

I can't wait to get out there again next year and try everything Squatty taught me. What a phenominal instructor he is.

Thank you Bud for the new stance. I've been trying for years to get rid of that knock-kneed look!

I hope I am lucky enough to ski again with EPIC. Thank you Keith for the best Christmas present. I will never forget it! Cindy-Alephmom

Cindy, didn't know that was a Christmas present.  Keith hit that one really well.  Played golf yesterday and am getting ready for that South Carolina golf trip. I certainly agree, Squatty was absolutely the best and a good time was had by all.  See you again.   Pete

In my lurkings I had come across a gazillion posts by Trekchick.  Do you live here?  This really had me wondering about you.  Well, in 6 days of skiing I found out!  Skiing with you was great fun.  Lets do it again!

Good friends indeed!  Squatty, thank you for showing me the ways of THE FORCE in snow.  You greatly exceeded your goal; each of us in the group had way more than half fun that you did. I am convinced that by the last day I had the biggest smile!

I honestly feel a bond with those I was blessed to share a group with.  You all rock!!!

Alephmom, did you ever imagine that Bud's handy work would do what it did?

I was shocked and amazed at how my skiing came together after he worked his magic!

Squatty, I want to shower you with hugs and kisses!

Pssst, am I still in time out?

Bshon, you're not the only one who wonders about me.  I skied with you more than anyone this week and know that we'll definitely have to get together to ski again!

Pete, thanks for being my fellow photographer.  We need more pics!

Hi there Trekchick,  visiting that Big Sky snow is very refreshing - I agree.  The bad news:  very hot here, fishing is in the tank-too hot, golf if a very early proposition as is Biking.   Good news.  A month ago it was dark at 945 and right now it is 850 and it is dark.  You know what that means, Ski and Skiing will be out in about 10-12 DAYS.  I just started reading Nolo's dissertation on Pedal Turns and next week I am going to the Montana/Idaho border and do some hiking a check out some possible - yep - new powder lines for the upcoming prodigous dumps.  Hope you're well.
