Picture of the year?

There are some real good pictures Bears have submitted from trip reports this year.

I'd like to start a Picture of the year thread and have those of you who have posted some, put them in here and  at the end of the season, we can decide who's is the best.

Who wants to start?

Lars, Great idea.  Maybe we can get the webmaster to cycle the pics on the home page like the old site used to display them.

Here is one of my favorite shots from this season.

Here's my favorite scenery shot of Snowbird from my trip in January.  Didn't take many action shots because I was too busy skiing on my very first trip out west at age 44!  Make sure to click on the picture to see the full size image.

I really like that shot of above of son of Eug taken by Bob Peters.  totally captures the freedom fun and youthfulness of skiing.  I dig it.

I feel like I didn't get that many shots this season.  Lots of helmet cam footage, but not many photos.  Here's is one like though.  Skier is me, photog is Casey Cane, location is Kirkwood.

I uploaded the full high-res version, so if you click on the pic, it will open up the HUGE version in a new window I think.

I really like the one of Eug coming through the hole thing at JH that Bob Peters took.  I also like the first pond skimming pic of Bushwhackerinpa.

Here are a couple of my faves from my Kicking Horse TR.

Scenic shot looking back across the valley from the top of Stairway to Heaven lift:

This one I took of my friend Arne in deep at KH:

& this one of my friend Ryan near Snowbasin:

Okay I guess that's enough from me, but dang I've had a great season especially the last few weeks & it's fun to finally have a camera.

More back country Kid Stoke

OK so it's back yard and not back country.  It was still his first tracks of the year, and he loved it.

I'd rather be skiing

I'll nominate this one of Noodler as my best of the year.

But I'll nominate this one as pic of the year.
