Conditions for Kirkwood this weekend (03/21-03/22)

I have a friend flying in from LA that's wondering if the storm rolling in this weekend will cause lifts to shut down at Kirkwood this weekend (a consideration if we pre-purchase discounted tickets). I want to say that I don't think so... but it's always best to see if a local has any input. What do you guys think? And thanks in advance. :)

Very likely the mountain won't be entirely open.  My guess is the Wall, Caples Crest, Sunrise, Covered Wagon, and Lookout Vista will be down at least part of the time.

Here's what's on deck for Saturday:

You can print the $49 coupon

They kept the Wall open the whole time during the Sunday storm a few weeks ago even though the visibility is almost none on top.  Cornice was closed in the morning and Sunrise was closed the whole day. Sunrise is almost always closed during storm.
