Vettel is the man.  Can't wait to see how many championships he's gonna win with Ferrari. :)

Wouldn't mind if McLaren got some points this weekend too.

Well, looks like Filipe likes his a lot more than Kimi does.

Man, the pictures from Spain are the best of the year so far IMO.  Great action close ups.  Lovin' the high def this year.

How much longer will McLaren languish at the back of the grid?

My dog loves the bumps too.

Looks like Barrichello lost his razor this weekend too.  Wonder if we'll ever find out if the third set of softs Rubens was on were abused earlier in the weekend.

I love that Newey built a car that is the fastest thing on the track...without a controversial slotted diffuser.

Does anyone else want to punch Eddie Jordan in the face?  I just love the digs Coulthard got in this weekend.  When describing Rubens' Q3 hotlap "Ah, ok, we're on the long front straight here, even Eddie could drive this.."  When Eddie was talking out his you know what about someone not going for it and "braking later than anyone" DC says "Ah, yes, of course you could brake later if you were in the car Eddie."  and my favorite, talking about Hamilton never having to deal with a slow car, and saying "I was lucky enough to always have fast cars.  Not like poor Martin Brundle here who drove for Eddie."

We should've realized it's company policy.

Anyway, how were you watching ITV or whatever? DC is probably pretty good, isn't he?

Martin Brundle is a laugh. I remember when his car was torn in two on the first lap of the Australian GP. He ran back to the pits and made the restart in the T-Car. In the interview after the race he said "I had time to change my car, but I wish I'd been able to change my knickers".

Nice photo there.  British F1 coverage actually got moved to BBC this year, but a lot of the good folks from ITV are around.  Coulthard is great.  The place that Eddie Jordan fills would be nice if only if it were someone other than him.  They had Mike Gascoyne in his place for one weekend and it was great...wish that was permanent but I suspect Gascoyne has other things going on.

Invite only, let me know if you want an invite.  All sorts of neat stuff beyond F1 too.  It requires delaying gratification...the torrents aren't up until a couple hours after the session.

I'd have to say that I'm glad it's back with the BBC instead of ITV. At least now when we watch it, hte feed doesn't get interrupted every 20 minutes for commercials.

The quality of the feed on Sunday was excellent - proper stereo and better cameras too.

I hope that they wheel out Murray Walker, if even just for the British Grand Prix.

Are you guys following the FIA vs FOTA thing?

I gotta say I am finding a new respect for Ferrari. I hope that they come out ahead on this thing.

So.... how about that race? Is anyone on here still watching F1 or are you guys waiting until Ferrari can win races again (if they even stay in F1!)? Kimi got on the podium - a lot better than my guys - no points. Bummer for Heiki! It was nice to see Rosberg have some decent form, I'm still hoping he can win a race tis year.

And yeah, things are looking pretty odd for Brawn!

I only saw the second half of the race, by which time it was a "Who's going to finish 2nd/3rd/4th?"

Really pleased to see Button doing well after so long. It would be great if Reubens could win a few too.

Question of the day:

Will Ferrari finish the season with fewer points than Red Bull?

Next question - will Toro Rosso get more points than Ferrari?

After race #2:  Sure is nice to see some new blood doing well.

After race #5:  Man, this domination sucks!

Meet the new boss.  Same as the old boss =)

What is it Varsha was talking about Ferrari having made a deal with the FIA years ago that gives them veto power on rules changes?

I have a friend whose boyfriend takes her skiing every year.  Vail.

He also takes her to a GP every year.  Monaco.

I'm probably way off here but that makes me think he's not much of a skier or race fan.

I wouldn't say no to either of those venues (but if I were choosing, I think I'd go for Spa-Francorchamps).

Anyhow, a few years back, Ferrari made a deal with FOM and FIA that guaranteed them a veto of any technical regs and an extra $50 million in TV revenue beyond what the other teams get. Remember, according to Bernie E, Ferrari is F1. They've made that clear plenty of times in the last few years. It's actually pretty surprising to see them now going at each other, what changed to make that happen?

To be sure, I wouldn't turn down a free trip to Vail or Monaco either... and I'm with you on Spa...  but if you have one trip a year and cost is not a consideration... don't know about time constraints in the warm weather but I know they don't exist in the snowy season.  To each his own, but I'm just sayin'...

Yeah, that would tip the scales closer to 'nod of approval'.... but I feel the need to reiterate here.... these are just my prejudices at work here.  He's probably significantly more accomplished than I am...... but I'm way taller!  Neener, neener =)

Grand Prix circuits I'd like to see a GP at:

Monaco

Brands Hatch (unfortunately they can't afford a GP any more)

Spa

Laguna Seca would be good - although I suspect there would be a few crashes at the corkscrew.

I don't know Road America - will have to look it up!
