Yup, can't wait.  Checked it out.  Too funny!

15 days, 17 hours.  Should be a very interesting season.  McLaren look like they've got a bit of catching up to do already.  Will Braun GP win a race this year?  How about Red Bull?  Will Fernando make a silk purse out of a sow's ear again?  Does Toro Rosso have any more Sebastiens waiting in the wings?  What effect will the new wings and the return of slick tires have?  KERS?  Push to pass buttons?  Yup, very interesting indeed.

My dog loves the bumps too.

If God hadn't meant us to ski, why did He give us mountains, snow and gravity?

We'll see. I was just reading yesterday about how McLaren may have "stolen a march" on everybody else with a different floor that they just revealed. The Williams diffuser was introduced early enough that everybody will soon have one.

I think RBR has the best looking car. No idea who has the fastest one.

Very true.  Won't know the real pecking order until everyone is on the same track on the same weekend with the same agenda.

Do you think any of the cars look better that last year's iterations?

Let's see which one is fastest. Whichever one that is looks the best. ;)

Seriously though, the RBR looks great. Williams looks pretty good too. I really really really hope we see them on the podium this year (behind two McLarens).

That's what happens when they don't have Ferrari's plans.

Anybody think Jenson Button could get a first win? Anyone think Honda will be kicking themselves?

Didn't JB get a win his first year with Honda?  Can't remember exactly but I think there was a big accident that took out all the contenders..... or it rained and he lucked into the perfect pit strategy or something.

Okay, I had to choose between being where I am and being in front of a TV, the choice was simple.  But I really wish I was able to watch this race.

Nice win for Button and Brawn. Wrap your head around this though. If the diffuser appeal goes through Hamilton wins?!?

Serious bummer for Vettel and Rosberg. Something clearly went wrong at Rosberg's pit stop as well as under the safety car period. Vettel had Kubica close the door on him taking them both out and then he gets a 10-spot penalty for te next race. At least we know the FIA is still the FIA...

Ferrari lookin' pretty strong after Practice 2, back where they should be, without the trick diffuser.  Gonna be scary to see how fast they are once they get one.  Mclaren boys still putzin around in the back of the field, must be hard without Ferrari buildin' a car for them.

Yeah but it's supposed to rain and if it does the Ferrari boys will just throw their cars off the track.

Just watched the Aussie GP.... hey man, the Brauns have the same color scheme as my Blizzard Cronus'.  A lot of passing... makes it kind of cheap.  A lot of bonehead driving.... reminded me of the interstate.  Loved the highlight replays during the driver interviews.  It'll be very interesting to watch the teams develop this year.

Qualifying in a few hours.

While I can't dispute this for Massa, despite the fact he's my favorite driver, Kimi should have no problem if it rains.  In fact, I'm hoping it does rain, as I feel Kimi is the stronger wet driver of the top 10.  Plus he and Kubica were the heaviest of the top 8.

If it does indeed rain, we might actually get to see some driving skill rather than some design skill.  No disrespect to Brawn/ATT/Toyota intended, I'm very pleased and impressed to see them doing so well.  Can't wait to see how the Ferrari performs with the diffuser, should the appeals get denied.

I wonder if rain nullifies KERS. I'd expect it does and having more movable ballast in the non-KERS cars will be big. I'd also expect that the DD Diffuser cars will have an advantage in rain.

Pulling for Rosberg (and of course LH).

Yeah, I was pulling for Nico too.  Too bad.

I hope all the European TV viewers are happy they got to watch the rain in prime time.  Nice one Bernie.

Quite the interesting season with all the variables.  It'll be interesting to look back in five years and see how history views this season.

It's good to see a new power on the grid but I'd like it better if Rubens was doing the winning.  Under Ross Braun, he was the perfect #2 for Michael.  It'd be nice to see him rake in some more wins this late in his career.

Hey Ferrari guys! How you doin'? The MP4-24 might not be doing too well, but how many points have you got now? Did you see that Luca Baldiserri is already considering stopping development on the F60 and looking to 2010?

Well, I can't say it's been great for us McLaren fans this year either, and for all I know the FIA will fine McLaren $200 million dollars take all of their points, chop off Lewis Hamilton's pinky and install a tracking chip in Martin Whitmarsh, but the McLarens seem to be gaining ground. Thank goodness they don't have any Ferrari blueprints!

I nearly shed a tear when Sutil put it in the wall.  Wow, that sucked.

I liked what Brundle said about how Vettel is pretty much the perfect racing driver.  Polite almost to a fault, a team player, appreciative of the crew, apparently undisposed towards a temper, and oh by the way as fast or faster than anyone on the grid.

A good race (even with the rain)

Had to laugh at Ferrari's comments about Ross Brawn and how he is egocentric/manipulative, etc. They thought he was wonderful when he worked for them!

Gutted for Sutil - that would have been great for him too. If it had been dry, would Brawn's tactics have given them a 1-2 again?

It's great to think that we're 3 races in, and the talk is about Red Bull and Brawn. Not any of the "big" teams.

Yeah, I see that as a positive too.  Not so great that we're three races in and Ferrari is talking about suspending development on the current car and basically scrapping the season.

You're right and I hope that we get that Williams win soon before the balance of power is restored. With RBS pulling out they need that win.

I suspect that the BRAWN car actually were too easy on tires, to actually heat up the tires in the rain.

Sebastian will be world champion some year but this is not his year, button finally gets what has waited for years.

Interesting theory. I can't remember how the RBR cars did on the Super-Softs in Australia.

I guess will will see if my theory is true at Bahrain, where it will be ungodly hot. Also most likely warm in spain and monaco is so tight were most car will tend to chew though front tires where as the Brawn cars will be sitting high and dry with how easy they are.

I will call it now Jenson Button is the 09 Champ, Brawn GP wins constructors and honda hates themselves royally.
