The tails of my RX8s delaminated so Fischer is replacing them with the Progressor 8+. (Thanks to Rick Barton and the Vertical Drop Ski Shop in St. Charles, IL for sending the RX8s back to Fischer under warranty. Great service as usual!) I've read the threads about the RX8 vs. the Progressor 8+. It seems, according to the posts that the Progressor 8+ is superior to the RX8 in every aspect. Is there anything the RX8 does better than the Progressor 8+? Just wondering what to expect since I really liked the RX8. Thanks!
Fischer RX8 vs. Progressor 8+: anything the RX8 does better?

The RX8 delams frequently, so that might be a good thing (you get free skis down the road).
Fischer just replaced my RX8's with the new 09 Fire 8's. I wish I had the choice of the Progressor 8's.
I didn't have a choice. The ski shop just told me that Fischer is sending the Progressor 8+. If given a choice between the RX8 and Progressor 8+, based on what I read here I probably would've chosen the Progressor eventhough I really liked the RX8.

What was the case with u !? did they change your bindings?
I think it's fair that they don't replace the bindings, I got brand new skis for free, how can I complain? The bindings go on easily, no drilling needed.
As dawg said, RX8's do have that advantage. I got 2 full seasons of skiing on my RX8's then got a new pair of skis that I sold for the original price of my RX8's (with the used bindings on them.) So I got the use of those skis for 2 years for free. Sweet deal.

I am having the problem with the whole ski (including bindings). At high speeds (specially at turnings) the entire ski trembles and shakes (including bindings), occasionally giving out creepy sound , But how could I take it on photo?! .. i think that my old bindings are no good as well :(
