Any Good Places to Buy a Pair of Fischers?

Looking to purchase a pair of Fischer Progressor 8+ (170cm) after having a blast with a demo of the Progressor 9+ at Waterville Valley, but I'm having trouble finding them at a reasonable price.  I'm located just outside of Boston, so I'd be either looking for a shop around here or in NH locally, or anywhere that is trustworthy online.  I found them at o2gearshop.com but have seen some conflicting reviews of that place.  Anybody have any thoughts?  Thanks in advance.

Send dawgcatching a pm and see what he has. He sells Fischer and has some good ski deals going right now.  He's done right by many a bear, including myself.

As to the o2gearshop.com, I just bought  boots there with no problems.

Scott (dawgcatching) already has them on sale, see here:

I've bought many skis from him and always gotten great prices and service.

BTW, I have also bought from o2gearshop before and had no problems at all.

If you just tested the 9+ why would you decide to buy the 8+??? The skis are very different and honestly, the 8+ does not hold a candle to the 9+ and.............I'M TALKING NOT EVEN CLOSE.

From everything I've read about the differences between the two, it seems that the 8's are a little more lively, and not quite as stiff.  I definitely enjoyed the 9's but did find them to be just a little bit on the stiff side for the way I ski.  I'm sure I could get used to it, but based on the reviews I've seen, it looked like the 8's would be a little more my style.  If you've tried both though, I'd definitely be interested to hear why you think they 9's are so much better.

I was just in Ski Fanatics in Campton last night (yes, my self assembled bindings will finally be tested), and they had a few types of Progressors on sale. Unfortunately, I didn't look at them that closely and don't know if they had any 8+'s. Might be worth giving them a call. Also had some Salomon XWing 10's at a price that I would have been happy with a month or two ago. If you haven't seen the shop, it's right at I93 and Route 49, Waterville exit 28. From the South, head right on 49 and then take your next right. My favorite shop.

I bought some Red Heats from snowdealsnow.com on eBay and was very happy with the price and product. Again, you'd have to check for yourself if they have what you're looking for, but they have a ton of listings there.
