East Coast Skis

I'm an east coast skier who mostly skis in NY. I'm looking at getting a pair of all mountain twins which are soft enough for jibbing. I have a pair of Nothing but troubles but they don't have enough sidecut for me. Any ideas?

Monster 78 has a lot of side cut and uis all mountain.  If that is too much a carving ski for you try the 88

I would pick the K2 PE for jibbing over the Monster i78.  It is a firmer, heavier twin tip than most twin tips, but it has adequate side cut for carving.

I've heard that the PE's are really stiff. I really wanted a ski that is stiff enough to carve but buttery enough to do boxes an rails.

Troublemaker is you best choice IMO for what you want- I saw some 2009 TMs on Tramdock today for $249. You could keep your eye out for when they pop up again.

Although I don't get the connection between sidecut and jibbing?

I am looking for something similar and have been thinking about the Line Chronic. Have you looked at or tried that ski?

Uh, "all mountain twin?" Volkl Walls are pretty light and soft, but can still carve when needed. And have heard good things about the Trouble Makers. My .02 as a non-park guy.

I've been thinking about picking up a pair of chronics over the summer. I've heard a good deal about the wall and also the chronics. Has any one skied them both?
