I just returned from Aspen and I need to share this!!!

 I just returned from a week long ski trip to Aspen and I need to share one of the, if not the best, experience I have EVER had.  While in Aspen my group (Kil-Rock Ski House out of Killington, VT) hooked up with a guide named Donny Roth who owns a company called Alpine Ambitions.  Because of his knowledge and experience, we were able to ski multiple days of untracked powder making this my best trip ever. Without Donny’s expertise, there is no question in my mind; we never would have gotten to experience what we did.  While speaking to him, I discovered he spends his “summers” in the Southern Hemispheres, specifically Chile, where he guides everything from within ski resorts to heli-skiing and even ski touring.

I cannot recommend Donny enough.  He was very in tune to the needs of the group and he was always willing to answer questions.  For me personally this trip wasn’t just about the skiing…I am a future (it’s gonna happen sooner than later) AT convert and I had the opportunity to pick the brain of a guy who is living the dream.  He not only listened to my non-stop questions, but he also answered them fully and shared the invaluable experiences of someone who skis 200+ days a year…Even though he lives in Colorado during “our” winter, Donny’s knowledge goes beyond skiing there.  He’s connected and works throughout North America, Europe and South America.  In fact, he was telling us about a trip he’d just returned from in China. 
I’m telling you now…If you get the opportunity contact him and arrange a trip YOU NEED TO DO IT!!!
I promise I can list 10 guys (from my group) who would give the same recommendation.

To further support moops, I originally set up the skiing arrangement between Kilroc and Donny Roth. I am very good friends with Donny's parents and had heard of his experiences. I thought that it would be fun to expose our group to a guide but had no idea of how well it might go. As you can see from moops, our skiing was greatly enhanced and even though I may be biased, he was extremely valuable in helping us find good snow and the proper terrain.
