Head Edge +SX L Is this a rebadged Edge 8.5?

Hi,

Wonder if one of you guys could help out.



Head Edge +SX L (womens boot).

I have searched about and can not find any information on this boot. Even Head have left if off the site.

It looks almost exactly like the Head Edge 8.5 I am wondering if this is really just the 8.5 with a higher price and a paint job?


Any help to stay in budget would be great.

I am assuming that you saw the Head Edge + SX L at a box store rather than a specialty shop. It is common for box stores to get special make up (SMU) products from its distributors. This gives them an exclusive on a product. Most of the time a SMU is the same product as an inline product at the same price point.

The SX has 4 micro adjusting buckles vs. the the 8.5 only having the #2 buckle as a micro adjusting.

Thanks I did see it in a store but it costs more than I can afford right now and wanted to try out the Head Edge 8.5 (no one has the size locally )

Can I take from you comments that the two boots are pretty much the same shell?

By the way, the Edge SX is better than the 8.5.  The flex, fit, liner, etc is the same, but the SX has metal buckles, when the 8.5 has just plastic (makralon).  And, as mentioned above, all four buckles have micro adjustments. 
LevelNineSports.com has a lot of Head boots, including the Edge 8.5 and even the SX while they last.
