So I've worked on getting my bestest Cadillac ski buds to my little corner of the world for a couple of years now. Arms were twisted, wheels were greased and curmudgeonry was endured but finally on a sunny Monday morning in early February 2009 I got a phone call as I was putting my undies on. "Hey, it's Tricia. We're in the C lot, where are you?." "Geez, what time is it?" "It's almost 8:00am." "Well you're about a half hour early, aren't you?" That was the start to a very cool day of skiing and commeraderie.
Groomers were zoomed, lunch was consumed.
Phones rang, ears were harangued.
Customers were thanked, money was banked.
Trees were avoided, new Jane skiers annointed.
Bump lines were learned, stickers were earned.
It was a day that I will not soon forget. My heart will be warmed everytime I think back to the day I introduced my good friends to the Jane and the Park side.
To all of you COskiers that avoid WP/MJ, I know full well that your fave hills are way fun but really, you're missing out.
Edit: Okay, first time using new photo uploader. Thought the text would be displayed.
