Getting off the Snowblades...New used real skis...Suggestions?

I've been snowblading for the past 3 years, and snowboarded before that. I've been skiing a lot more this year, and the blades just aren't doing it for me anymore.

I want to screw around in the park and ride all mountain. I definitely want twin tips.

What should I buy? I've looked into Public Enemys and Anthems, and I think I'm going to go with one of those unless you convince me otherwise. But what size should I get? And what bindings?

I'm 6 foot, but really light at about 130.

I plan on using my existing boots. I'd like to spends less than $400, any ideas where I can find a set?

Thanks,

with a Look px12 binding and you should have a cheap and solid setup.

A similar level of binding, 12 din, should be fine for you too.

What's a good length? And a good price? It looks like I'll have to buy them separately.

Thanks

Length?

Well, if you were not coming from snow blades I would suggest the 179 cm, but because any normal ski is going to feel long I'd go with the 174 or possibly even the 169. You may be dissapointed if you go too short though.

I don't have any clue what to go off of. I was thinking of going shorter because the one site i found with a chart was saying 15x range because of my weight. You think 164 is too short? I can get a pair pretty cheap if you reply fast enough lol.

I just went for it and won. Much cheaper than I was expecting to spend so I had to bid.

You think 164 is too short? I can always resell them. How are the "Solomon bindings S912Ti" bindings?

Those S912s should be fine for you. Skis may be a bit too short, but ski them and see how they work.
