Can anyone give me feedback on a new tuning/fitting shop in Campton, NH, named "The Speed Factory," with a David Joyce named as certified guru?

Speed Factory

I stopped by yesterday to drop off a pair of GS race skis to be tuned. He checked the base with a true bar before recommending a grind. I have never seen a shop do that, it suggest to me that he not only knows his stuff but is cautious with equipment.

Dave was at Summit (across the street and under the Hardware store) racing last year and did some tuning for me and did a nice job.

Dave is a former Nordica Rep. but is now running his own shop, he has some new and used equipment and from the number of skis that he has in the shop for tuning I would say he has some regular clients.

He is easy to talk to appears very knowledgable. What I know about him is information from him, I'll let you know how the GS skis run after this weekend.

I've used Dave at Speed Factory and Summit Racing before that for several years, and he is a nice guy and always does a reliable quality job on mine and my family and friend's skis.

I was a fanatic about tuning for a long time and always insisted on doing this work myself, but Dave is helping me let go of that need to do everything myself...Chris
