Doctor D is in the house and supporting Epic by thanking Epic members for supporting him (that made sense in my head when I was typing it). The good Doctor has donated a fantastic tuning kit for a Christmas time auction.

Included:
Everything you need to tune skis: Tool kit; Iron; Vise; Brush; and Wax.
*Ski Man Hobby vise is very easy to use for tuning all types and shapes of skis. Features sturdy, high-tensile aluminum vise and is light and easy to transport.
*Temperature adjustable 800 W wax iron with thick sole plate. Base plate measures 5.5 inches x 3.5 inches and is 0.5 inches thick.
*Nylon brush for cleaning wax out of structure (3 in. x 5 in.)
*All Temperature Hydrocarbon Wax, 150 g
*Deluxe Tuning Kit includes: Edge Bevel Multi Tool for a precise edge angle from 1 degree to 5 degrees in 0.5 degree increments; Blue DMT Diamond Stone; 40 g bar of All Temperature Wax; Sharp/Rigid Plexiglass Wax Scraper; Metal Scraper; Full-Size Gummi Stone; Large Edge Stone; File Cleaning Brush; two different style Ski Brake Retainers; Clear P-Tex; Black P-Tex; all in a zippered Cordura pouch with lots of pockets.
This kit has a value well over $200.00! Shipping is included in your bid.

The usual bidding rules apply. Bidding will start at a low $3.75. Bids will have to be a minimum of $5.00 more than the prior bid. Bidding will conclude on 12/18 at 7:27 PM EST so it will still be able to be shipped and received by Christmas.

Skiing on gear that you are keeping in tip top shape is a GREAT feeling.

Tuning a family member or friend's skis and knowing that it will bring a smile to their face is almost as good a feeling!

Is there a "buy it now" price so that I don't have to wait so long. I don't like delayed gratification and worry someone will steal it out from under me at the last minute. I want to get myself a tuning set-up like this for Christmas and worry that I will not be able to get it here after the 18th.
