Auction: Epic Ski Academy Vest (m) (ended)

Welcome to the 2.4th Annual Semi-sporadic Epic Ski Auction. I know we won’t be able to keep up with SAC, and now Tramdock and all, but we will be trying to offer an item up for auction whenever we can. Depending on the item the auction might last for a couple of days or a couple of weeks.

The first items up this financially stressed season were donated by our own Dp and Oboe, one vest a piece.



We have TWO Retro-Kewl Epic Ski Academy Vests in a Medium, so the top two bidders will get the vest. (ex: In the past we have averages the two bids to be fair, so if we have the final two bids at 27.00 and 29.00, both will pay 28.00).

Bidding will start at $15.00 and the auction will end 10/29/08 at 7:34 PM EST, please figure a couple of bucks for these generous Bears for shipping.

Please post your bid in the thread in $2.00 increments Also, please keep chatter to a minimum and PM any questions to me and I will see that they get answered and I can update the original post with your q&a’s.

Does anyone know how these vests fit?
For me, a Med in a Marmot is like a Small in a Northface.

I think it's a men's medium. I have a small in this vest and it's definitely roomy.

I've e-mailed to Trekchick a few photos of me in the medium. I am donating one medium and two small vests. My chest size in a suit coat is 39, and the medium fits me perfectly. The small can fit me, sort of, but is a bit short.

These are original issue, folks - collectors items you can wear! They were produced for the very first EpicSki Academy in January of 2003, and not thereafter.

We can have DP ship the other medium vest to you or to one of us attending ESA. One goes to Evan and one will be raffled off at ESA.

The median bid amount is 22.50, well worth the value of the vest.
I'll take care of the cost of shipping for DP.

Evan, I bid $25 on my own vest. Therefore, since I bought it and still have it, the vest will be raffled off at ESA Stowe. You bought the other vest at the median bid.
