I had trouble posting it in larger size.
To close the loop, this is a trail called Juniper at Kirkwood, CA and there are a lot of beautiful old pines on this part of the mountain - Caples Crest.

Okay, here's a more obscure place. Can't remember the name of the run, so we'll just go with the name of the ski area:

and the main lift:

Except the snow doesn't stick to the trees like that in CO.

Gotta be somewhere in the PacNW, maybe up of the smaller western Canukistan places?

Really, that must be a negative effect of Global Warming cause it did when I skied there back in 1985,

Note the snow stuck on the trees..

Sorry for poor quality, scanned old print. I used to have one from a chair there that looked a LOT like the one we are guessing on.
I'd rather be skiing

I'm going to second the eaglecrest guess.

Crgildrt - I think he's referring to the snow ghosts in the top picture. That is much more common in a maritime climate than a continental one.

Yes, Eaglecrest outside of Juneau, AK. I thought that would be a little more difficult, good job!

It is, I skied a day there last year on my way to Haines. Very local, fun place with nice people & tons of snow, with lots of sidecountry.

Okay, here's a humdinger. Points for the ski area, extra credit for the run.

It looks a little like the bottom half of Greeley at Alta, but I wouldn't swear to it.

Snowdon quad at Killington ?, toward the upper part of the lift, woods on the right would be Low Rider glade? not certain of trail name but in that wide section trail veers off to skiers left to black diamond that is usally always bumped, straight down trail turns into a groomer

That would've been my first impression as well.

Definitely not URSA express or Stratton I think. There's bumps underneath the liftline which means that it can't be URSA express since the only part with bumps under this lift is the top of Grizzly but this looks completely different than that part.

I'll second that, but the run is not Lower Challenger as Lower Challenger isn't under a lift. But I think the lift is North Face at Mount Snow. Lol, I don't feel like pulling out the trail map.

Looking again you are right skiking.

Lower Challenger would go off to the right along the tree line to the left in the picture. I suspect the trail right under the lift pictured there would be lower Free Fall. That's a name change since I've skied there.
