You are correct I did not launch off the rocks, ha ha. Hey are you going to be out there 1st week of Feb, I booked up a week at SLC then, would love to make some turns if you are around. Is your 1st picture at MRG? It looks somewhat familiar but the orientation of the lift to the trail doesn't jive with my brain.

A great view Thiago and while I certainly need all the help I can get…you may want to scrub the mountain locations from your image tags’ going forward…the particular run is still in play

OK, location (bonus point for the price of a lift ticket)

If God hadn't meant us to ski, why did He give us mountains, snow and gravity?

Your loss , Upper Extrovert. That lift pole you can barely see the top of isn't too far away.

Wrong.

Well since Don revealed that my guess was right, and this is LL, I'm going to take a guess at the run.

I think its the catwalk that takes from the bottom of the steeps on the back side, to the lift that takes you back up to the top. 90 degrees to the right of this should be some sick steeps and cliffs.

I could very well be wrong though.

Doubt it. You’ve got a good eye. How long ago did you ski around Banff? Too many years ago for me and while we skied LL (that place is over 4k acres alone) as well as SS & Mt. N, I still did not identified that pic…although I do remember the Canadian Rockies were abrupt.

Never thought of Blue Knob as the MRG of PA. I was thinking Denton has more of that MRG feel.

Looks like Pika to me too. Probably a little downhill of the paradise chair...

Well, if i'm not wrong in my right side is the end of "Patarmigan" and "Old Ptarmigan" trails, and going straight ahead through "Pika" you would end up in "Larch and "Ptarmigans" quads

I knew it was extrovert. Its a good place to be if its a pow day.

My work firewall blocks anything from facebook and most other photo hosting sites.

I did one trip up there a couple years ago. Couple days at LL and a couple at Kicking Horse. Still not sure why I let my beaconless freinds convince me that we should skip Sunshine.

That peak in the background is what made me think of that area, it just screams Banff area to me.

Just checked the trail map to refresh my memory as to the names, and yea, that's where I was talking about.

And now that I think about it, the sick steeps and cliffs I mentioned are probably behind the camera man. I think this pic was taken past where things start to mellow out a bit.

By the way, I'm quite proud of myself for figuring this out. Its my biggest accomplishment in a long time.

OK, heres another

I like this game.

All right, one more

The area should be fairly easy to guess for both these, the run not so much. Also, the website I got the second one from in no way reflects any beliefs of the poster.

Hmmmm, would the areas happen to be Moonlight Basin and Aspen?

My dog loves the bumps too.
