My team won last year, but I'm rooting for Chelsea in this year's final. Couldn't bear to see ManU get a double...

Shux, I missed this thread before the Champs League final. I follow the Premier and Champs Leagues some. I'm a Reds fan. I started folloeing them some because a few of my ancestors can be traced to Liverpool. There's actually a Gildart Street in Liverpool. I have a Gerrard 08 home jersey, and NT home and away jerseys (no numbers on those).

I have a collegue that like Chelsea and a collegue that like MU, both currently working in our London office. They weren't talking last week.

So, how is it that England didn't make EURO 2008:

I was pulling for Chelsea, tired of MU always winning. But, by the way Chelsea fans, you can't have Torres

Well, then you might be as gratified as I am disappointed that Milan is out of Champions' League next year. But, they're getting Zambrotta, and possibly, getting Scheva back. Dunno what's happening with Ronaldinho...

England isn't in Euro '08 because of Russia/Croatia and more importantly a lack of team play by English players.

SCUM scraped through last night, while Liverpool trounced Real on Tuesday.

If God hadn't meant us to ski, why did He give us mountains, snow and gravity?

It's ON Saturday.  I hope someone knocks Rooney in to the middle of next week.  That hack may have cost the NT the cup a couple years ago with his stupidity.

I'm confused.  My info says that The Reds are playing Chelsea today at

14:45 ET.  That was almost 4 hours ago but I don't see any scores or stats so it looks like the match hasn't started.  What''s up with dat?

Go Reds!

Aha, it is now updating. 1:1 at half  found it on ESPN 360 live

Crap!  I wish I had forgotten about it.   They would lose the game I actually was able to watch..

Rematch at Chelsea coming up this afternoon.  I hope the Reds can even things up.

Off to a decent start, 2-0 at 35

Rats, they couldn't hold the lead, tie game, down 2 cumulative again with 15 to go.

What a game!

OK Congrats to Chelsea for the aggregate win.

Well played.  Lampard's second goal was freakin' awesome.

yeah it was a great game

I caught most of it live from my hotel room

Years ago when we were living in london, we went to a game at stamford bridge, a thursday night match against, I can't remember, maybe Mallorca sp?  Gianluca Vialli was the player/manager of the blues then
