Yes to the former and no to the latter. I enjoyed the day working on home projects. Ditto today.

I'm quite sure I saw breakaway gates (rapidgates) on the hill in 1982, possibly just on practice courses.  Maybe they became FIS standard in 83?

You mounted the ELC's up??? 

The VO's and EL Comps I still have are virgins and the one of each pair is still in the factory plastic not touched by hands since it was wrapped on Vashon Island  (roughly) 23 years 7 mo and 21 days ago. 

Never had much use for virgins , and since I had a pair of almost new Twin Cam MRR's lying about it was a match made in heaven. Besides, how was I going to ski them unmounted???

Did Geze ever make a metal version of their "dump truck" heel piece? I've got G90's and G90R's
which in their plastic splendor exploded even after backed off to the lowest setting the first time they were cycled.

Any former happy Geze skiers out there?
