Stick with the cartels. Better and more comfortable. Practice strapping in standing up/while coasting, its not that hard.

Strapping in standing up works for the first few runs, but after that I'm just too damn tired to keep doing that and it takes to long compared with the flow system. I’ve been snowboarding for over 10 yrs and I need a binding that allow me to get in and out in a matter of seconds without my butt hitting the ground.

Again, the question is what the best system FLOW or Clinch by K2??

Both work just fine. The Cinch is heavier by quite a bit. Flows are now some of the lightest bindings out there. So not really a fair comparison.

As far as the rear entry goes, I think the Flow models are far easier to use. They have little resistance and lock securely. The only real problem is also related to the entry. If you are on a steep slope and/or deep pow it can be challenging to get into the bindings. Generally you have to put them on while you are on your knees. A little weird and not that comfortable. With the Cinch you have the option of using it like a regular strap setup.

As far as performance goes. Well I think either out performs Cartels. Durability, performance, whatever. That's my opinion, but you can't pay me to ride Burton bindings.

I tried several bindings at a dealer demo day this year. Including Flow Team bindings (expensive!) and this year's Cinch. Both performed great. One thing with Flows is that you want to get their higher end bindings. The NXT series this year seems to be the ticket. My friend demo'd this years and was very impressed. High praise coming from this guy.

Out of all the setups I tried, I thought the Flow Team bindings were the best pair of binders I demo'd this year. I was quite surprised as for the last three years I have done this demo days thing, Flow did not rank tops. They are really working to make their product a great one and it shows.

I was going to get my nephew the Cinch for his birthday, but when the Flow's came up on Steep and Cheap, I snagged a set for him. He really likes them, and would never go back to his strap ins.

Surviving is essential, thriving is incredible!
