The combination of indoor and on snow training is pretty much what every ski and snowboard school offers every year. They may call them Instructor Training Courses (ITC) or hiring clinics. They are usually priced slightly higher than the cost of a lift pass. Very few people go through these things without the intent of getting a job teaching. Going through a non-resort school product like this may be more attractive (i.e. less stressful/awkward) to those who are not immediately interested in a job teaching. Although the main focus of courses like this is to teach you how to teach, you will typically walk with some improvements to your own riding as well as some hard to define fringe benefits (e.g. it can lead to changes in your life and btw they are a lot fun). These courses are not for everyone, but there are many who could benefit from these kinds of courses who are either not aware of them or simply don't consider them because of the "job" focus. So please spread the word or consider it for yourself!

Regards,
Rusty
