So let me get this straight....some people get rid of their old friends after years of loyal service....kicked to the curb.....

I, too, am toying with the idea of thinning my herd to only one or two retro pair and less overlap in the post 2K ski quiver.  Not this yer though

Smell that?  Winter's coming!

Jeebus, Canyons...

My quiver now consists of

183  PM Gear Bro ('08/'09)  for pow days
176  Head Mojo 90 ('07/'08)  for chopped up snow and thin cover
174  K2 Public Enemy ('06-'07)  rock/dirt skis

I've got my ears and eyes open for the new PM Gear r/r funshapes they're coming out with this year, and also they have rockin' fatties in more lengths from what Pat tells me...  I have a feeling I'll be putting a car up for sale to up the quiver for next year...

Excellent work. I love the mini-Goats. We'll be needing some of those too.

People keep turning me onto Explosivs 'cause they know I ski 'em, mostly skis they had inflicted on their wife who hated them terribly. So I trade for them, gone through 3 pairs now. The Stocklis are race turned and perfect, the LPs are brand new, the unmounted Explosivs are mint and a size larger than all previous pairs, thus my inquiry how much faster I'd have to ski them to make them turn like the others. they are mega-stiffer than the 165s. anyhow, really cool stuff. can't wait for SNOW! rock an' roll.

note: around tahoe we talk more about condition in quiver because we ski such rocky conditions. I'd have an ideal quiver, each ski model(except powder skis) in perfect tune and beat for a rock ski.
