Nah, the cinder blocks used to make that wall is not common to construction outside N. America.

What utter ballcocks! Just about every house built in the UK since time immemorial will have an outer wall of red bricks and an inner wall of breeze blocks. Also most interior walls before the rise of the evil plaster boards. Supporting walls will still be breeze block. Pretty similar situation in Norway - basement walls in Leca (like cinder) blocks, upper house in wood. I guess most of Europe is much the same.

You're not much of a gear ho if you saw cinder blocks.

I stand corrected! Than again most of the Euro houses I spend time in are a few hundred years old (my dad's farm is almost 500yrs old) and the houses in S.America that I have been in have no basements.

Carry on with the gear displays........

They have been mounted once with tyrolia sp130's and are in the process of being remounted. We have someone coming in the 13th to demo 183's and lashas pows. After that I'll talk to Pat and see what time frame we are looking at.

Nope. I just guessed.
I only look up IP addresses when I have to. That's like homework and I was never good at homework.

Can we get some info about the customs here? What's what, dimensions, flex, core materials, etc. Are any of these heading to folks we might know?

You just had to go there eh I have to put these next to the other 4 pair I got this year.
They are mine, and I hope to get them tomorrow, or the next. Kyle was great in getting done what he had to to get them to me before my trip.

The red, and blue ones are modeled after the line prophet
178 length 134-100-125
My wifes skis are the white, red, and purple, made after the armada ARW 165 length
114-82-104.
Kyle can chirp in on the flex, and so on.

I just plan on sitting on the lift, and do laps around the towers so everyone can get a chance to see them.
I'll try to take a few more pics when I get them, and will post the tr, when I get back.

That is the first pic I have seen with the binders on..

Great job Kyle...Pm coming

Damn, where'd you get the two new ones from?

The best part of this whole project is this picture, I actually had to take a second to look for my skis amongst the retail models...

Thanks for the paypal Lee, it really helps!

check the binding on the dynastar for me looks to be old high DIN sollies.

also you got some really old turn tables and some reverse heel lever marker binding that I am sure JT holmes and Shane McConkey would love to get their hands on.

Yeah those big Dynastars are race slaloms with race bindings, I have to inventory what I have. Some of these skis look like they were used maybe once! But they were left outside for I don't know how long. None are delaminating and all could probably be resuscitated. The Elans are beautiful and have black and white speckled bases. Some of the bindings on these skis are downright scary, so puny thin plastic. On the other hand several are thick metal, with titanium.

And will you be parting with any of these once the skis become furniture? Are you making adarondack chairs, or something a little more out of the ordinary?

Sidenote... ever seen a snowboard picnic table? They come out pretty nice if done right... boards for benches too!
