Here's our Quiver. It aint as modern as most of the stuff I've seen overhere. But it's okay for us.

Her stuff:
Ski: Dynastar Agyl 6 2003
Length: 162cm
Top: 103
Waist: 66
Tail: 88
Bindings: Look XR 6.0
Sticks: Leki Vista 125cm
Boots: She rents those

My stuff:
Ski: Dynastar 4X4 Vertical 1999
Length: 190cm
Top: 102
Waist: 68
Tail: 86
Bindings: Tyrolia Cyber 8
Sticks: Gipron Alu 135cm

Boots: Dachstein V4's

She has 2 years of practice so the agyl's 'll do for her I guess. I still like the 4X4's but I guess the age is starting to cave in. The 4X4 vertical has almost identical measures as the 4X4 Outland.

just realized that I have never posted in this thread. So here is my current 'active' quiver (skis that I use). Not shown are some completely trashed 186 Stockli DP's and 179 Bro's that I use as rock skis early season, and some 240cm Atomic Speed Skis.

The active lineup (l to r):

-192 DPS Lotus 138 Flex 3 w/Solly 916's - (for those epic powder dumps)
-195 PMGear SuperBro w/Rossi 155's - (cruising & crud busting)
-192 PMGear FAT BroModel /w Solly 920's - (competition ski, wide open off-piste)
-188 PMGear BroModel w/Freerides - (backcountry ski)
-183 PMGear BroModel w/green spring S900's - (everyday do everything ski).

Not sure I'm doing this right but the links seem to work. Assorted boards, most are mine:

Tyrone,
I think I can remember doing some water skiing with the pair on the left, except they had different graphics and the bindings were rubber

Is 192 the length or the waist? Looks like they would also be great for the late spring pond skipping

This comment is actually somewhat serious. Do they have fins? I wonder if tiny fins would be of use in bottomless powder if they could be removable somehow so as not to interfere with skiing other surfaces before and after you get to the good stuff?

Well in that case...I will answer. They are 138mm in the waist and 192 in length. Official dimensions are 140-138-139. They are amazing powder skis....you can ski powder in ways you never thought possible.

Family quiver

My skis:

Dynastar Serie Outland 178cm w/ Marker M9.2 Titanium Speedpoints. My first shaped skis, after a skiing hiatus of many years. The bindings are subject to a Marker recall - wonder if the replacement offer is still valid.

Head XRC 500 163cm w/Tyrolia RFII SL10. They're getting LD12 bindings soon, but I feel I've outgrown them - I'm thinking XRC 800 or 1200 in a longer length.

Dynastar Phil Dion Pro Troublemakers 165cm, w/Look P10. Stable and reliable in most all conditions, fun in the park - love the Pivot binding. My favourite right now.

Harald's skis (6 years old):

Dynastar Team Nothing But Trouble, 115cm w/Look Team 4. Not seen these anywhere in net shops or Dynastar's website, but sold in a shop in Norway. He wanted a fattish twin-tip for jumps, switch etc.

Dynastar Team Speed, 110cm w/Look Team 4. His "proper" skis for training and kiddies races. These are not allowed near metal rails, unlike the NBTs which he can rail all he wants.

No Current Owner:

Atomic Race 6, 130cm w/Look Team Nova 7. Louise's old skis that Harald may grow into next year. I'm thinking they'll be decent for a 7 year old with improving technique if he's okay with the length.

Louise's skis (11 years old):

Salomon Fish 141cm w/Salomon 608. Louise's current skis. Fish was cooler than Kitten, apparently

Wife's skis:

Head C200 149cm w/Tyrolia SL100. I'm thinking I'll put an RFII plate on these and give her my SL10s from the XRCs. The plate comes with the LD12s I've ordered anyway. Might even persuade her to take over the XRCs so I can get something beefier.

well, crgildart... now that you have, you deserve extra props for shameless "product placement." Go Heels! Poor NC State never had a chance today.

btw, I just noticed your invite from few days ago to join you skiing, under the Minnesota Bears thread (next time try a private message (PM) to grab attention directly, as I may not stumble onto random threads). A great idea and much appreciated, but I'm flying to Minnesota come Monday, for a family funeral/reunion. Have fun and let me know how it was! We hit one morning at Sugar Mtn over xmas that was as good as we've had down here, even without much natural snow.

Wife's UNC Tarheel Jerseys. We have lots of jerseys that hang out back with other gear. My OU Sooner gear is still recovering from the beadown that WVU tossed their way in the Fiesta Bowl

Me neither, but I will post my updated quiver once I have all the skis in the house again, probably in three months.

I should post the quiver of my mind.

Yeah, that would be a good one. My only change is the Hot Rods this year. I'm going to have to get more expendable income. :

I confess that I covet those brohemouths. They are probably too much ski for me, but none the less, they always pull at me when I see them. Perhaps it's the badass graphics, which I think are MD9s best so far.

I guess I should post up what I got:

old school Dynastar Coupe Du Monde's (208cm), with solomon 957 bindings and nordica syntech f6 boots - Anyone know what the heck I should do with this setup?? Should I turn the ski's into multiple shot glass holders and sell them on ebay? I hate to throw them in the trash?

2007 atomic sweet daddy's (182cm), with neox 614 bindings and head edge 7.7ht boots

I might put them on craigslist for $50 to see if anyone wants them?? The boots had the bottom pieces crack apart so I dont think they would do anyone any good but you never know??

I Ski.

All-Mountain: A common descriptive term for boots or skis that are designed to perform equally poorly under a variety of conditions and over many different types of terrain.

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.
