Continuing the unibroue theme, I'm having a glass of trois pistoles.

Delicious. Love that I can buy this down here in the southwest.
Due to this post I decided to try Trois Pistoles. Now I can't decide which I like better Fin Du Monde or Trois Pistoles. Damn You!
I guess I will have to do a lot of research.
Just finishing up the second Trois Pistoles now.
Wild Turkey American Honey.....in hot Tea....Then onto the Jameson 18yo or maybe a sigle malt Scotch
Where did you score that? Been looking for that even in the current release.
What am I drinking right now?
Chablis Premier Cru
Fourchaume
Domaine William Fevre, 2006.
Apple Pear on the nose, wonderful acid, crisp and clean. tropical fruit on the tongue. Great chewy mouth feel and nice long after taste.
Wow... what a great wine.

Well, it's about 8:50am on Tuesday, but last night I cracked the first bottle from my most recent homebrew batch. It's a smooth drinking pale ale. Nice copper color, decent head, slightly hoppy. Not too bad!
Starting the next batch this week. Either going for an IPA or a Scotch Ale.
I teach snowboarding and pegger ski biking at Winter Park Resort.
What's pegger ski biking? Glad you asked!
Ski biking at Winter Park on a powder day...ahhhh.

Pindar Chardonney...gotta support the local economy.
Power's Irish Whiskey on the rocks. A new love.
All's for the best in this best of all possible worlds
Try some of this stuff!
LOL...when that stuff came out it was all over the local news and it was being called liquid crack. Seems it was being sold only in lower income hoods and the young folk were buying it up and drinking it like candy. I remember driving to the wrong side of town to buy it....I don't know if it was because my tolerance was so low or that the combination of the industrial grade artificial ingredients and alcohol combination formed a psychedelic substance that really messed you up.
Google: Cisco liquid crack.....you will not believe what people say about this sub-nuclear waste product.
Cisco's magic ingredient is formadehyde. It has long been a favorite of hard core gutter drunks, giving the most bang for the buck. A good friend of mine drank three bottles of it, and died with his eyes open.

Smell that? Winter's coming!
Bavaria (“Hefe” means yeast, a small amount of which remains in the beer). In 2004, Bayern Brewing introducing a dark Hefeweizen, otherwise known as a Dunkelweizen (dark wheat), to the line-up: Dragon’s Breath Dark Heff.
Dragon’s Breath Dark Heff is mild in taste, unfiltered, and 5.6 % ABV (Alcohol by Volume). It is moderately hopped with Bavaria’s preeminent Hallertauer Perle hops and is cold-fermented, eliminating any harsh aftertaste.
Jürgen Knöller, Bayern Brewing’s proprietor and Brew Master, brewed this beer style at four different breweries in Bavaria in the early eighties. His Dark Hefeweizen won Gold at the prestigious German DLG (German society of Food and Drink Producers Association) annual competition consecutively from1980 through 1985. Jürgen’s same brew, introduced at a major U.S. beer competition for the first time under the label “Dragon Breath Dark Heff”, received the Silver Medal at the North American Brewers’ Association 2008 Beer Awards.

If you like that.....
Aventinus Wheat Doppelbock....
Actually, for a while this winter, Bayern was brewing Face Plant Doppelweizen, which was one of the most unique and tasty beers I've ever had. It was on tap at Snowbowl, one of only four locations which had the privilege to serve it. At 7.5% alcohol it was almost as heady as it was yummy.

And, as Jack Horner would say, that's a GREAT name!!!
True, it tended to have an effect which lead one to emulating it's moniker.
