Haha.

On the way to the BBQ yesterday we stopped at the store. My girlfriend was reading off some of the names, and I was following behind her reading the labels. This one didn't ring any bells, but as soon as I saw the label I thought "Holy sh!t, it's V.A.!". So I got some.

It's pretty funny when I show up with beer at a family BBQ and everyone there wants to have what I'm having. Turns out one of the guys is either a brewmaster or really, really into beer (gathering more info on this). He saw the 4-pack and perked right up.

Sierra Bigfoot spilled on my keyboard. I disconnected it and am letting it dry out. It should be OK, right? It was a connected keyboard, I'm using the keys on the laptop now. I was only on my second bottle but I think it's stronger than beer, it's "barleywine"... ?

Me, I'm definitely thinking of checking some of this stuff out...

And no, I'm not making this up--there really is a Steven Seagal energy drink, currently offered in flavors of Cherry Charge and Asian Experience. Go to http://www.lightningdrink.com/drink/learnmore.html and see for yourself.

Here are some great quotes from the website:
Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt energy drinks are as unique as the man who created it. It has pioneered the way for nutritional, all natural energy drinks and emerged as many “firsts”:
- First energy drinks to contain Tibetan Goji Berries
- First energy drinks to contain Asian Cordyceps
- The only 100% Juice Energy Drink
- All Natural – No Preservatives

The name Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt was an inevitable afterthought. When Steven Seagal finished creating a drink that holds untold natural power, there was only one equivalent in nature- The Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt. Both mysterious and powerful, it's a symbol of the untold energy the earth has to offer- Such is Steven Seagals Lightning Bolt energy drink.

Actually, on further consideration, maybe I'll just stick with one of these, which is one of my favorite of the German hefeweizens:

Cheers!

Rasputin was NOT the Czar, just an illiterate peasant who had a such a strong spiritual presence that he became powerfully influential with the Czar and Czarina, this lead to a jealous aristocracy murdering him, by poisoning, beating shooting and drowning him.

Yes, I bear a strong resemblance to him, and for all I know I might have been him, but it's hard to remember form lifetime to lifetime.

As for what I'm drinking right now, it's one of the best things about spring in Missoula.

Not surprisingly, I've been directed to that link before.

While I can't claim that grandeur, I have never failed to measure up to a women's, um........longing.

Oh and for the sake of the thread, I'll say that it's still Maibock season.

From the Bayern website:

Please don't underestimate its potency and don't drive after enjoying Maibock.

Is NC a ship-to state?

Call Rich Cushman and ask about his Grüner Veltliner, he should be bottling maybe ~50 cases?, well, like, now.

Milwaukee's Best Icesometimes referred to as 'Beast Ice','Beast on Ice', 'Yeti' or 'Beast'. It is popular among students for its low price and 5.9% ABV
Got it on supermarket close-out/discontinued sale: $4 for 12 pack cans. Secret recipe for appreciating this fine beer: ride bicycle for one hour in 95 degree temperatures, upon entering home put beer(s) in freezer for a few minutes, take cold shower, then enjoy in large gulps. Tastes like $4 per glass beer!
