goofy

I look like a total dork!

but not nearly as bad as the fat dude I saw (too many times) at a century a couple of years ago, in his full green and yellow (limon) Phonak kit! What a hideous uniform. And for a fat dude to wear it shold be illegal.

Actually, when I heard Floyd got fired by Phonak, the first though that came to mind was; Thank God he doesn't have to wear that limon outfit any more! I'd wear T-Mobile pink before I would go near those Phonak colors.

I notice you're logging your miles on a road. I jog on a bike - jogging - walking path with my dog daily, and my pet peeve are serious bikers trying to get their training miles in Sat.- Sunday mornings when the trail is packed with kids on big wheels, grandmothers, walkers, idiots like me jogging with dogs. The cyclists come out of nowwhere and are annoyed you are in their way.
Anyway, if you're a serious cyclist, I think riding on the road is the better venue for your training.

The guys cycling on our trail at high speeds in crowded conditions rfeminds me of somebody trying to do train for Super G Sat. morning on a crowded ski trail.

Consider the source, I'm just on a jag about cyclists because it looks like they're having more fun then me, and maybe in less pain!

As a fat guy in lycra I will remind all my fellow fat guys in lycra that black is still the old black....stay away from those light, bright colors!

What do I look like on the bike? Fortunately, I'm the one person that will never have to know.

Baggies.....with baggies the other folks on the trail don't have to see that you've got lycra on underneath.

I'm 20 lbs lighter, don't wear the mellow yellow and I don't ride with the ipod. (I need all eyes and ears to keep me out of trouble.)

Bruised and battered. I tried mountain biking with my family and went head over handlebars within the first three minutes of the ride...Ya know what they say, "it's just like riding a bike, you never forget." Hah. I'll stick to skiing and hiking.

What gets me is the person who rides in the woods with an Ipod. For what? To drown out the noise of the babeling brook?

The customization to vBulletin that sized images got broken in the upgrade and is the next thing I'm going to fix.

I'm twenty lbs heavier, flat bars, towing a B.O.B. trailer (usually empty), no yellow jersey. iPod (shuffle) YES, most important component.

roundturns...I was probably number one on your hit list of serious bikers down on my drops aero tucked “annoyed” that joggers and pets on leash were impeding me from reaching terminal velocity on my 15.5 lb Italian money pit. This behavior stopped once I witnessed a crash and burn involving pedestrian slow jogger moving suddenly to the left who had headset on. Ugly road rash! Lesson, I moved to the street now where I only face 3000 lb plus vehicles; at least it will be quick and painless. Seriously, police have been out with radar in Denver’s WashPark loop ticketing Lance’s going over 15mph amongst the Footloose.
