First of all, welcome to EpicSki!
Secondly, nice work finding a relevant thread to post your question in rather than start a new one!
Finally, Yes it's that easy, but you will actually be moving the heel forward, not the toe back.
First you'll need to remove the single screw and plastic plate from behind the toe piece:

Once that's off you'll be able to see and move the track:

If yours are like mine there should be BSL markings on the toe side of the track:

Just slide the heel until it's where you need it to be, then screw it all back together:

Now you can try your boot in it, and then use the bottom screw on the back of the heel piece to set your forward pressure. With the boot in the binding you want the head of the screw to be flush with the housing (this one is too far out because there is no boot in the binding):
