Ski Instruction And Coaching Forum Posting Guidelines  

EpicSki is an open forum for adult ski enthusiasts. Over the years our greatest challenge has been moderation of the Ski Instruction & Coaching forum, where differing opinions can sometimes become inflammatory and unnecessarily personal. With regard to these special challenges, our goal remains to establish an atmosphere where interested members can discuss and debate in a respectful manner all the facets of skiing technique and teaching methodology, and all the physics, biomechanics and psychology that underlie the two. All views are accorded access here. Personal attacks (see rules of debate) are not tolerated. Agreement, disagreement, argument, debate, and comparative competition are all good things so long as the participants are respectful of other people and their ideas. Accordingly, we proclaim that:

The mission of the Instruction and Coaching forum is to provide Epicski users a place to ask questions and participate in civil discussions on ski technique and instruction and for receiving useful ski coaching online. 

The Epicski Rules of Conduct and Posting Guidelines will be applied to this forum with the intention of maintaining productive technical discussions that serve both professional and non-pro members values.
