I have a side specialty in that I'm a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Certified Personal Trainer. Specialties Taking people to the next level after an eternity as an intermediate skier. That and bumps. I love bumps. I ski in the east mostly so I don't get to teach them much, but the day after we get snow, guarantee my class will be getting their lesson wherever there's the most bump-like terrain. Comments I've been teaching since 2000, mostly in Quebec but also with a winter at Silver Star in BC where I was taught for about an hour every morning by some of the best level IVs in Canada and Australia. Great year! I've also been a hockey coach and an ultimate coach (took the kids to the national championships the past two summers), and have been a disabled ski guide, so I have lots of experience helping people achieve in sports.
Basically I love talking ski training and skiing, but would like to do so as a pro. What do you think?
