Hey all, great forum. My girlfriend is an excellent skier and its a joy to be in a relationship where we can do this together. Only problem is she gets genuinely cold. She hardly complains but I know she's shivering on the colder days and seeing that we ski at a notoriously cold mountain (Sugarloaf) I can't blame her. Do you all have any suggestions in terms of what I can find her for a base/mid layer that might make it a little more enjoyable for her? It looks like the Patagonia Capilene 4 is highly rated, any other ideas?Thanks in advance!
Hey guys, every year our school hits the slopes 4 days out of the month. I recently conjured up the idea to have the Senior class dress up in costume as a little fun. Now I was wondering if there were any problems with doing this that any of you know of. I'm trying to think of safety problems mostly. THe only thing that worries me is someone losing visibility because they wore a mask or something.

Well this is it. I am currently in the process of planning a 1 year ski trip that would depart in late 2010 and begin anywhere in the world. This would be a non-stop powder chasing year of skiing. Although on a budget I would hope to get in at a minimum 200 days of skiing around the globe. From AK to Afghanistan and Japan to Argentina there is no location that I am going to rule out. Any suggestions are welcome as I will need to do some research and plan everything based on accumulated weather data and costs of travel.
